It's out on the PC, isn't it?

Yeh, and its coming out on X-Box later on in the year Smile

Star Wars Galaxies - Vulcan - 30-01-2004

I currently play the PC version, and it is very good, and very addictive. The game is very deep and its almost 100% player interaction. It is impossible to play the game without interacting with someone else, ll weapons,a rmour everything useable is mad eby some player who has sold it on, etc etc.

Get this game, its worth the monthly fee.

Ok thanks Smile. Ive been looking at some X-Box deals on the internet and some sound quite good. X-Box console, 1 controller, 2 games for £120 Smile.

And before I forget to ask, is it true that if you die you have to start all over again? And that it takes about a year to train upto being a Jedi?

Star Wars Galaxies - Vulcan - 01-02-2004

Firstly i advise you to spend that £120 on upgrading your PC and getting it on that and not on the Xbox as it will be less popular and no one knows for sure yet if it is even going to get an Xbox release.

That Dying thing isnt true, and if you want to become a Jedi i advise you to go play any other Star wars Game such as Jedi Knight or KOTOR. This game isnt about being a Jedi or flying X wings or taking out star destroyers single handedly, its about player interactiona nd having fun, doing whatever you want to with other people oin a near perfect simulation of the Extended Star Wars Universe.

If you dont play this game your missing out on what is the best SW game ever created.

Thanks for the advice. Ive been in doubt myself today if it is actually getting an X-Box release or not. I havent heard much of it yet. I might try contacting Lucas Arts and asking them if it is going to have a release for the X-Box or not. Im on the verge of building my own computer anyway, so if it does come to no release on the X-Box, I'll just refer to the PC version. One last question before I go, how much is it to play per month?

Star Wars Galaxies - Vulcan - 02-02-2004

its £9 ($12) a month, but its worth it, we get weekly updates, everytime a bug or problme appears theres a patch the next day and once a month we get a massive patch that adds new things, last month it was vehicles, the month before it was player cities. This month the combat systems being fixed a bit and an 'imperial crackdown' will start where IMP's will start taking over major cities, searching people to see if their rebels in disguise (covert rebel) or if they are carrying any illegal substances on them (Yes you can get drugs in this game).

Should be fun for a Rebel Colonol such as myself. :p
