Hmph! :mad: I would like to know whats up with this...erm...COUNTRYism. People on EU and JAPAN servers are..COUNTRYist. Ill get on a EU server and people will ask if I am america(first thing wrong) and i say yes. Then they wont talk to me. They(mite have been you! :eek: ) just ignore me. This makes me very uneasy when going to EU and JAPAN servers. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO EARN THE RESPECT OF eu AND japan PLAYERS!?!?

well i can tell you why the EU dont like US im EU i liked playing with the US but people have the idea this is a qoute "the us are just obese patriotic barstads" mind my spelling im feeling lazy and the JP they are an enigma.

well that was from my freinds mouth that quote, hes a very anoying and sad individual but anyway i know some canadians who i play neverwinter nights with, i dont have a problem personally with anyone tho the jp's are realy a mistery as to why they ignore people.

OK. First off, thats another prejudice ya'll have against AMericans. ONLY abouyt 20% of us are OBESE.
Second, nothing wrong with being patriotic unless its overboard( about 5% of us ). And don't be mad americans fer being patrioitic because we kicked ENGLANDS(yours maybe?) a$$ during the revolutionary war. EDIT this if it has to be but.....we could take out most EURO countries with one nuke if we wanted to. keep that in mind

It is no misery why they ignore us.
1) They can't understand is (most likely reason).
2) Compared to them, how we play and how we act is very disrespectful and rude. We steal red boxes, swear, and generally play for our own benefit. It's a team game, play it like that. Both run to a red box and take it. Let others see it and gather round...... I'm not going to tell you how to play properly with Japanese. If you can't play how they do, you'll never learn, or not like playing like that.
Americans have gotten themselves a reputation for being dupers and hackers. And they advertise it. "I dupe" and AR lvl 200s. It's Americans that you instantly think of. I don't know why, but they do. And I'm not saying that EU or JP don't do it, but Americans have gotten themselves that reputation. I've played with EU people, who dupe (not knowing), and they haven't advertised the fact they do it. I could have met the wrong people, but that's how I see it. I will say that I've seen a lot of French people though. And they don't seem to be 'that' nice. Sorry to any French people, but the ones I've met/seen aren't too nice :S. Germans I've met are nice
. I guess it just depends on who plays the games in your country (lots of adults in Japan, kids in America/Europe (?)).

ok you wish to go to history, the man who created the nuke wasnt even american he was german he made nuclear energy only for the use of good (heating etc) but the americans had to be extra and use it as a wepeon,so he killed him self and all your best scientist were german if it wasnt for those german scientists your country wouldnt exsist the japanese would of desroyed you, and over 50% are obese not 20% and patriatism is up to you as long as you dont get blown up.

The main reason i think European/Japanese players have a bad image of American players is because if you go to practically any popular US server, you'll no doubtedly find lots of Duping/Hacking/Cheating going on, aswell as message spamming within the lobbies. Even though this could very well be few Americans out of all the Americans who play Phantasy Star Online, just those few making it bad experiences are giving that vibe off. You don't find half as much, if practically any of those kind of activities within European/Japanese users/servers (Maining talking about lobby message spamming here).
If you respect the other players, they will respect you. I dont know how many people would stop chatting to other players just because you come from a different country, because otherwise that would mean almost half of the members of this forum wouldn't talk/reply to the other half!

The Japanese did terrible things, but now look at them.
Past performance is not an indication of things to come.

I would be wary of what anyones going to say, one more flame and I'm going to guess that this thread will be deleted or closed O.o
