Nintendo DS - Lee-yoshi - 12-03-2004

There's Japanese documents leaking left, right and center, and earlier today aparently, it appears someones come across the ones concerning Nintendo's 'DS' Handheld which has yet to have anything about it confirmed, apart from the fact it's got 2 screens, at least until now...

Here's a nicely typed out list of what the Handheld will have according to this "report". It's all unconfirmed though, you'll have to wait to find out whether it's all the real deal at this years E3...
  • An ARM 7 and ARM 9 processor, with the ARM 7 running at 33MHz (the GBA's ARM 7 runs at 16.8MHz) and the ARM 9 running at 67MHz
  • 4Mb of system RAM, as well as 32K of processor RAM for both ARM 7 and ARM 9, and 656K of VRAM.
  • Compatability with GBA Software
  • Each screen will have a resolution of 256x192 (GBA= 240x160)
  • At least one of the screens will be Touch Sensitive
  • Powerful 3D Graphics being able to push out about 120,000 polygons per second!!!
  • The buttons are the same as the GBA's: D-Pad, A & B Buttons, R & L Shoulder Buttons, but also a possible X & Y Button to be added after a decision has been made. his will then make the controller similar to that of a SNES Pad.
  • Wireless LAN Connectivity, with the possibility of upto 16 Players connected at once using something known as 802.11

Remember, it's unofficial...
