what does auw stand for. All I know is that is a year like auw1999

I don't know what it stands for, but I do know it was the year the weapon was created. The year depends on certain items like the agito. You need an agito 1985 to talk to the tekker in the offline quest "Seek My Master". He'll change it into a more power oriagito.
There are Auw's on agito's flowen's sword, sange, yasha, and kamui. Other's too but I can't remember them all.

I don't know what AUW stands for but it marks periods in time (much like our A.D. & B.C.) I noticed this when I did 'Blue Star Memories' on a JP ship and it gave me a timeline with AUW dates on it when I finished the quest.

its time, like u get earth years, its Algol years i think or sumthing like that (Algol is a star system in the old games) im not too sure, but a veteran PS fan will be able to tell you

It's probably Authenticity Utility Make or something like that. NM I really have no clue about it, I'm no good with acronyms :'(

or
After Unification of Weiss
actually it could be something else, this is what very knowledgeable poeple about Phantasy Star (excluding myself) said a while ago at some place else.
