Right Direction - Phleace - 12-05-2004 Greetings! I had been a PSO player a couple years ago, and had loved the series a ton. Due to real life stuff, I sadly had to walk away. I didn't walk away from gaming, but the only time I could find in my life was for a few simple deathmatches from some of my favorite shooters. Kinda sad, but that's what happens when you go to school and am also employed. Now, I'd like to get back into PSO. I'm wondering though, what platform should I play? I'm really excited about PSO BB and would totally love playing on the PC (where I do most of my other gaming), but of course, i'm not sure if i'll be able to get BB/sign up if it's Japanese only. I have a Gamecube and an XBOX, but Episode I & II has been out for a while on both. If I do have to go with either the XBOX or the GC, which should I go with? I'd like to choose the platform that is least likely to die soon. I would prefer to play on the platform with the most players. Because i've been away from PSO for a long time, i'm kinda a stranger to the community. Can you point me in the right direction by first telling me what platform I should play? Thanks! ~Jason//Phleace Right Direction - odin22 - 12-05-2004 Go with GC all the way, besides, you can play with a limited number of players on the x-box cos of those region thingy's. Right Direction - Ivan - 12-05-2004 Yes, Xbox isn't good at all. GameCube is world-wide. Defenately the right direction to go. Suppossedly the Xbox freezes quite a bit. Besides, you're more likely to find more gamecube members on here, such as odin22 and myself.
Right Direction - Omar - 12-05-2004 There seems to be a GC fanboy majority here, so I wouldn't take too much notice of the opinions ![]() Both console have their pro's and con's, but I choose to play on Gamecube as I already have the console and have many friends on the GC version. I suggest you look for the good/bad points of each console elsewhere and then make your own mind up. If you intend to play Ep3, then the GC version is probably your best bet cost-wise. Right Direction - Faulkie - 12-05-2004 Isn't ep3 GC only? Right Direction - Sheik - 12-05-2004 Faulkie Wrote:Isn't ep3 GC only?yes Episode 3 is GC only. Right Direction - Frost - 12-05-2004 pfft... I couldnt stand to play this game with the xbox controller... *shudders* Right Direction - Sheik - 12-05-2004 I don't even want to buy an XBOX, if I had one PSO would be the only game I'd have.
