TFLO Cancelled! - Starman - 03-06-2004 Topic says it all really - MS have cancelled True Fantasy Live Online, needless to say that I am very disapointed with this news. Thanks MS! ![]() Quote:Development on True Fantasy Live Online for the Xbox has been halted, publisher Microsoft and developer Level 5 revealed via a press release issued today. The game, originally scheduled for Japanese beta test in the Summer and release some time this Fall will no longer see the light outside of the Level 5 development studios. http://xbox.ign.com/articles/520/520861p1.html TFLO Cancelled! - Kiweki - 07-06-2004 That stinks! That was the whole reason I bought my XBox.... Now it's gonna serve as a high-tech paper weight . Unless I decide to play Panzer Dragoon.
TFLO Cancelled! - Beat X500 - 07-06-2004 Oh I heard about this somewhere, I am just as disapointed as the rest, xbox could do with more online RPG's. TFLO Cancelled! - Kiweki - 09-06-2004 Is there any way another company could aproach Level 5 and have them continue development for their console, or the PC. I mean, what are they gonna do with all that work? TFLO Cancelled! - K8lin - 09-06-2004 aww i was gonna get xbox live for this! oh well.. :'( TFLO Cancelled! - Beat X500 - 09-06-2004 Kiweki Wrote:Is there any way another company could aproach Level 5 and have them continue development for their console, or the PC. I mean, what are they gonna do with all that work?I know what you mean, i had an Xbox World DVD with nearly an hours footage of this, they did all that work for nothing, i definately agree that another company should carry on their work, even if it was for another console TFLO Cancelled! - Kiweki - 14-06-2004 I'd love to play this game on my little Gamecube! But, unless Nintendo releases a mass storage device for the GC, I see little chance of that happening. A PS2 option is probably not possible either considering that it is technicaly slower than the Gamecube, which is slower than the Xbox. Though, the GC's graphics capabilities rival the Xbox in my opinion. If it ever is revived, a PC version is their best bet... TFLO Cancelled! - Bojangle - 14-06-2004 Gutted. Was really looking forward to this one. Ah well...
