How does data get corrupted? I know once, the power on my gcn was turned off in midplay, and i lost my data, but how else does it happen?

It happens when you FSOD *check hacks and cheats forum* while you are saving the game or when the power generaly cuts out while you are saving.

I had a level 81 and she got deleted, now I have a level 70. I hope it doesn't get deleted again, because if i get a corruption then i am gonna stop playing forever!

I remember getting pictures taken with decswxaqz and then a few days later I was corrupted when the power cut off during saving.
