well a few days ago while I was online I ran into a friend, and after talking a bit I found out that he had corrupted and started over on a madcatz 1x, after starting over on the madcatz he corrupted again but this time nothing happened and he didnt lose anything! so to test this out I went to wal-mart and bought one, I then went and made a character on it and corrupted it, I turned it off then back on and it said what it usually says when you corrupt so I took it out and blew in it and it was fine! Im not sure if this is work everytime.

what the hell. what the hell is that elephant thing thats stupid. and bout the memory card dont go buying shit memory cards as they tend not to work well only buy ones from nintendo period. with the nintendo sign.

Now to answer you're question the mad catz ones seem to work that way. I have a 16 x one (1019blocks) and it saves fast and is gaurenteed not to corrupt. It's amazing, I haven't been corrupted yet. So I think you're right Phantom.

ah sorry bout.. long time ago my ps1 had an incident with a third party memory card lol. lets see it corrupted a few times. i had lots of stuff the only thing i could save was my ff7 files lol. so i copied them over to a brand new sony memory card. when i tried to pull the card out it wouldnt come out it was mad catz something card. i pulled and pulled then the sony went flying across the room. i was peeved. so i got a hammer went out side and smashed that memory card to tiny little bits hehehehehehehe. just to say never buy third party memory cards cause they always have something wrong with em.

I wish i would have got mad catz i always buy nintendo ones right now i havent corrupted yet maybe its cause its a 52block those save fast since they dont have a lot of file space.

Kevin...the MadCatz is not gaurenteed not to corrupt, nothing is gaurenteed not to corrupt, the problem with corrupting was that silly double save thing or whatever it was, the glitch happened instantly, not mattering how fast you saved it, you could have the save take around .000000000001 seconds and it would still corrupt because the glitch is instantanious...
Advice to you, don't gaurentee things with biased data (How long have you had your MadCatz versus how long you've had your Official Nintendo card?), we get enough of that in TV commercials.
As a side note I have not corrupted in around a year and a half...and I use the official Nintendo card.

Misterbud, thank you. I've said the EXACT same thing to Ivan before. Mad Katz 1x or 16x, I don't care, they ALL can corrupt (and Mad Katz is surely more likely too as they are the WORST third party out there).
