Say 10 or more of us all play eachother in 1 on 1's with two viewers per match to verify the result and we can find out who the best player is.

Could we not use the tourney's to support the league?
I.e. Regular times to meet and play in an appropriately sized tourney with points handed out depending on the final position in a tourney. Over time a clear picture would be built up of who is the best player but would also give people with less cards time to play and earn better cards and then start to do better.
Just a suggestion...

We ran a ep1&2 tourney a few months back and it was an insane success. We then decided to give it another try but taking timezones into consideration and spanning the tourney over a few weeks. Needless to say it wasnt v.popular and hardly any people entered for some reason or another...
Without interest in these things its hard to get them started, we might do a poll beforehand to see what kinda of feedback we get.

A league is totally different to a tournament.
A league is more held in tables, that wud be easily possible on the forums to make and sounds interesting. If im thinkin wot ure thinkin then i take it u mean havin so many forum peeps in a table and dealing out points for match endings (Such as premier league football?).
A tourney is more a knockout comp... well here it is anyways! U cud take as long as u like with a league and hold them wenever u like n simply update the table as it goes. Makes interesting thinking...

The league is going ahead! Take a peek at this weeks Hunters Gazette if you havent already for a bit of info about the first ever Ragol.co.uk Episode III Battle League!
For all the rest of the info about the league, look into next weeks Hunters Gazette! Sign-ups begin around 1st weekend in November, and the league gets started only if there is decent demand (Enough entries).
