i have a level 200 mag and both the heart of angel and heart of devil but the little shit wont let me use them on him. why cant i make him use them? oh, i also got the mag through trade. its stats are lv5 def and lev 195 atk, the rest zero. does having a traded mag with funky stats affect anything?

No. The mag must be at least lv100. And so must your character (No androids)
So either its that your character is an android, or its not Lv100+

my character is lv 65 and a humar but the mag is lv 200 with both iq and synch maxed.

i got the jack o lantern and christmas present through trade. i put the present in my inventory and only the present and then quit so i would be saved. then i would go into the game and open it, if i didnt get what i wanted id turn off the GC. since it didnt save after i opened the item, id get to open again and take my chances.
