Does anyone know if you can transfer data between the two?
My friend is getting plus and I have the other older one. We would just like to know if it'd be possible to play together using the somewhat same game...

Ehm...
"PSO-GC-JP 1.0" and "PSO-GC-JP 1.1" save files can be converted to "PSO-GC-JP Plus" save files.
So I think that the US GameCUbe version will yield the same rules. I also think that you can import characters from the previous version for a multiplayer session. But I am not sure.

Um.. uk.
Because he would like to know now if it's possible to switch back between the two versions. He owns one and I own the other *older... version* one.. He just thought that it'd suck if he couldn't play on mine but I could on his or something like that. Yeah.. Just wanna know if we can transfer data between the two versions and still be able to play on our own separate versions, without corruption or having it be the wrong version saved file so it wouldn't work on the other version.
I'm probably repeating myself, so i'll end that there for now. Thanks for your help

Ok, I understand. But I dont know the answer. =( And you can't convert back to 1.0.
But playing with 1.0 characters is another issue. Try with another memcard first. CHances of corruption are small when testing I think. Dönt do anything rash only.

Ahh. Ok thanks. we both were curious about that, because it'd suck really bad if we couldn't play together, seeing how he just bought his for $30, and I spent $50 on the old version *got it like a month ago and didn't know plus version was coming out soo soon...* So, yeah.. I think we are both screw then.. but we'll still try with my 3rd set of characters. *Gotta love having three cards.*
