Playing PSO 3 online - twinbanj - 27-07-2004 I only get 2 hours internet time a week. 4 if i really beg. This is shared between me and twinkazz (my twin brother), so i only get 2 hours a week at most. this mean i get 8 hours a month online. Is it worth playin online and payin £3 ( twinkazz would pays the other £3) for 8 hours (each). I want to play online, but im unsure as to weather it would be worth it. P.S: Im begging my parents for boadband, but all ive got are 'maybe' and 'i never said we'd get broadband'. Playing PSO 3 online - Ivan - 27-07-2004 Why you have restricted times yet have broadband is beyond my belief! However it is quite worth it! ST actually made it part of the game! You'll notice you've got a seperate CLv for online probobly. There's tournaments and very many friendly people to meet. Though eight hours a month you might not want to. Playing a tournament online is about 30-120 minutes depending on how many players there are. And even with a battle, the least it can take is 15 minutes I think.
Playing PSO 3 online - K8lin - 27-07-2004 It's still worth it, if u have epI and II also, you can play both on the same Hunters licence. Yeah if u had broadband, why would u have restricted hours? the community is friendly, and its just a totally different experience to offline. Playing PSO 3 online - Ivan - 27-07-2004 Basically offline is the people who are alone and out in the cold. ![]() The only thing to worry about online is FSODing (Very rare especially if yu've got broadband) and all the spamming/spammers. Playing PSO 3 online - mr_shoe_uk - 27-07-2004 Quote:FSODing (Very rare especially if yu've got broadband) How does broadband make this less likely? Anyway, offline Episode 3 is really good, but I still really like online, though I probably wouldn't get it with such limited access, as to do almost anything on the game takes ages. Playing PSO 3 online - Ivan - 27-07-2004 Faster, less-laggy, more secure connection, etc. Playing PSO 3 online - twinbanj - 28-07-2004 If i had broadband i dont think id have restricted times. The time restrictions are because of the cost of internet dial up ( where as broad band is always on, so it wouldnt matter) and so that i dont disrupt in coming calls (you can be on the phone and use broadband). Oh, yeh, ive orderd a copy of PSO 1+2!!! Cant wait!! I hope its as good as PSO 3!!! Playing PSO 3 online - Freaky kid - 28-07-2004 well you can get a dial up line that only pays a certin amount a month (eg my dial-up line at my mums house virgin 24) what internet line do u use now? Playing PSO 3 online - twinbanj - 30-07-2004 My paarents have confirmed that i will NEVER get broadband... anytime soon... So... ill have to use my 56k internet... its a pay as you use it sorta thing... TISCALI is what its called. Its a glitch in the game, not the internet connection |
