*points to siggy* What do you think would be better for leveling up characters on ultimate? Ruins seems kind of hard at the moment, but we get bundles of EXP from it. Eventually. But what do you find easier to level up on?

If you find ruins too hard on your own, then do forest runs.
If you have some high levels with you who can help you out (cast S&D, J&Z) then go into ruins!

But what do you find easier to level up on?Since the forest is such a small area compared to the ruins, I would go for the forest. Just go through the forest a bunch of time and bet the dragon. He should level you up some.
That's what I would do....I know the ruin give you more exp but at the end of the forest you can bet the dragon and get a bunch of exp too.
That will help a lot! Just do it like 10 times. LOL

Yeah, the dragon at the end of Forest is easy to kill, since I use a shotgun type weapon most of the time (final impact) Ruins is pretty difficult, but I can get through it sometimes. But I can't beat dark falz, so I guess it's easier doing forest runs and getting some EXP for the dragon boss. - Scott

Your characters should be able to handle ruins with good enough equipment, but I would suggest some Soul Of A Blacksmith or Heat Sword runs to level up faster in forest.

Two things:
1) I'd go for the forest if you can't beat dark falz, because the enemies there are easier and don't give you that much less experience.
2) How do you get those 2 missions, Omar?

Yeah.../should/ be able to. xD I'm using a Final Impact, Inferno Bazooka, Stag Cutlery, and Soul Eater at the moment with my RAmar =/ Not too great, judging by what i've heard on this site :'( As far as armour goes, i'm using Holiness Armor or something like that still, because of the slots. And a secret gear for the barrier. I've been doing Episode 2 recently, just to try finding different weapons. The best I got was a photon drop. Damn it. [/rant]
Annnnnyway. Back to the point. I find ruins a little tough and i'm just wondering if it would be quicker doing forest runs, since it's so easy to do.
Edit: Oh yeah, are those missions online or something? I haven't played online yet...=/

Soul Of A Blacksmith is an offline quest that goes from F1 to C3 (You can choose to only do up to the dragon if you wish and then restart).
Lost Heat Sword is an online only quest that takes you from F1 to the dragon with some very high enemy counts (best place to hunt tollaws). It is selected from the "Retrieval" option iirc (the top one).

Oh, okay. Thanks omar. I couldn't remember doing a quest called Soul Of A Blacksmith. I really oughta sort out getting online one day.
Well, I think i'll stick to doing forest runs for now then.
