Hi im on my third character now after my memory card being corrupted twice, i didnt hack or use any duped stuff the first two times thru it, first char to die was lv.137 and the second char to meet his demise was lv.84. My recent character who is lv.71 but i got a hacked mag from a freind to help me level up quicker because my patiance for this game has wavered, i love pso but im not really prepared to use my time now after what has happened to me.
Sorry for rambling on but i thought id have to explain myself before getting torn to peices for using a hacked mag.
My question is im not finding any rares, is this because of the hacked mag? :|

A hacked mag dosen't make a blind bit of defrence for item findings.

alright, on topic:
afaik, this '1308 mag blocking rares from dropping' thingy only works on xbox, on pso plus (if the game host uses this) and most likely on BB.
on another note.
i played my redria up to level 130 to finally see a rare drop thats not some nine-star junk. just a matter of chance.

That's kind of harsh. But I would reccomend playing in groups, and checking your drop charts.

slightly off topic but still about rares: I killed an al rappy but it was on normal, damn you low level chars!
Anyway, bon chance with the rares and maybe you should ditch the mag, but that's only my point of view.

Ditch the mag, if you are level 70 or so you shouldnt need the hacked mag.
Hacked mags also DO block rare drops, yet another reason to ditch the mag in favor of a lvl 200 legit mag.

Yes, Hacked Mags block rares. Most people aren't smart enough to realise it though.

Indeed hacked mags do block rares, and wuldnt they make the game to easy???
if you wanna level up then just do TTF, i know sumone who got coruppted, she just TTF for like 3-4 days and was lvl 95 legit!

I see you as quite pitiful that you've had 2 corruptions thinking you have the "right" to use a hacked mag. I've had 7 corruptions...does it look like I'm going to use hacked mags? if you can't be arsed to play the game the right way, I would heed reno-ko's advice...

misterbud, serpent7 and shifty, please read what rena-ko said. The hacked mags do not stop rare drops on Ep1&2 on Gamecube (the version almost everyone here plays on).
