Newmans - Feline Witch - 06-09-2004

Are Newmans aliens or mutants?

I am guessing mutant, as they are all based on Nei, who was a mutant.

Newmans - DarkMagician - 06-09-2004

I believe you are correct, Feline Witch. Hmm... It would appear you have some knowledge of the original Phantasy Star's... Interesting...I shall be watching you...

KING KITTY IS WATCHING YOU!

I believe the keyword is "some".
My mother fished out PScollection for my birthday, but it was so insanely hard I never really have got into it. But I love PS2. Mother Brain is a very creepy idea... Hard, but with the prettiest combat outta the 3.
PS3 had a stupid name, stupid title, and ugly sludgy graphics. And not a newman in sight.

Anyway, when I picked up PSO, I thought they really should put the battle music for PS2 in here. And there it was in the spaceship! (My fave track in the game!).

Yep newmans are mutants.

Dark Magician and his oddness. ^-^;

Newmans are altered human beings containing DNA of beasts. These were of course introduced in PSII, our first little Hunewearl being Nei, of course, her being one of the few HUnewearls I can respect without stabbing my TV with a spork.

Newmans - Feline Witch - 07-09-2004

You DON'T like Hunewearls?

They are second faves after FOneys, then I like RAcaseal.

What don't you like about them? Is it cos they have the lowest attack power for Hunters, or cos' they look like they work in the Red Light district?

Haha Pioneer 2's Red light district! I could just write so much funny stuff about that, but I don't wanna offend anyone or get booted off site.

Newmans - Archer - 07-09-2004

They look cool but they are just too small. and if you make them tall, they look weird Tongue. Plus the metal thing around their neck where the section ID is makes them look like someones slave Tongue. *hooks on chain and takes HUnewearl for a walk* j/k Tongue

I thought neither at first. I immediately thought "genetic abhorration (spelling error?)" upon seeing a Newman character...
Having played Phantasy Star 2 a bit I now know that they ARE indeed mutants of some description...

[OFF TOPIC]

grin. You mean you've never seen historical documentaries about Celts?? I see that "metal thing" as one of those torques (assuming thay my historical knowledge is unusually accurate).

who is this nei ?

Newmans - Feline Witch - 07-09-2004

In the second PS game, it was set on a star system called Algo, which was connected by a giant network, controlled by a computor called Mother Brain. This allowed the three planets to be terraformed, and MB set up the biosystems lab, where sutiable creatures where bred and all DNA records were stored here. Only there have been an outbreak of deadly creatures called Biomonsters. Nei was a baby created with the cells of a human, and a biomonster. She is a hunewearl (she is very catlike, rather like the hunewearls). Sadly she is an outcast from soceity, and was almost killed by a mugger. Her weapons are claws. She goes around with an Agent called Rolf, and loves him very deeply.

Newmans - Orphen - 07-09-2004

Well I would list the many things thaT I hate about hunewearls, but I think it would be alot quicker for someone to tell me what's GOOD about a hunewearl. (Other than the fact that they're "hot" ) .
