Discussion - "Making a..." Guides - SUPAH CHAO - 24-10-2004

I really had no clue where to post this, so please move this to wherever it needs to go.

I'd like to make some corrections to the "Making a..." Guides.

"Making a HUmar"

"The HUmar,one of the most balanced characters, is useful because of his average MST and Tech abilities backing up what he lacks as a HU. To back up his not so very high attack and defense"

His MST is average, but it certainly won't back him up very well outside Jellen and Zalure (Which will be useless online anyways with a support force/HUnewearlRAmarl). He has the second highest ATP in the game, and a respectable defense, so I'm curious to know where that statistic came up.

"5 DEF
110 POW
80 DEX
5 MIND"

Rediculous stats for any characters mag, except maybe a melee FOnewearl with their low ATP cap and slow ATA growth. Not even a melee FOmar needs that much ATA (Work on that part of the guides later), and HUmar has the second best ATA of the Hunters.

"Making a RAcast"

"DEF - 5
POW - 145
DEX - 50
MIND - 0"

Again, even 50 is too much Dex. Especially for a Ranger class. (My RAcast doesn't count, RoboChao just has weird requirements =p). Other than that it's fairly accurate.

"Making a HUnewearl"

"DEF - 5 / POW - 90 / DEX - 105 / MIND - 0"

Again, severely messed up. HUnewearl has low ATP for Hunter standards, so that should be up. Her ATA growth is fine, she doesn't need more than 40 Dex on her mag. Again, the only problem is the mag.

"Making a FOmar"

Now, having my main character a FOmar really does help ^o^

"Since his MST and TP are the lowest of all Forces..."

FOmarl has lower.

"Def - 5
Pow - 75
Dex - 50
Mind - 70"

The 70 Mind completely gets rid of the melee purpose. You might want to make a mind mag so that he can equip the high level spells, but MST doesn't affect S/D's boost/J/Z's decrease, so the only thing MST will get you is more health from Resta. And being a Force, you'll naturally get a respectable amount of HP from Resta.

Ok, I didn't post this in a forum to fix the guides, since most of this is opinion. Which is to say...

Once again... do some research Double Edge... he is referring to the Guides on Ragol.co.uk!

Those Guides are really bad, for starters you should keep dex as low as possible by using God/Arms and keep def at 5 or 6 and fill the rest with materials.

Edit:

as for the RAcast... those mag stats are great for a Diwari mag, it is so easy to train.

Whoa... I never looked to closely at those guides, then again I never used them... Plus, the HUmars accuracy leaves a lot to be desired, so +40ATA actually helps.

As for the FOmar, I prefer to level up mind contiuosly. His melee capabilities are horrid, and he's one fo the best for forces. I can understand 25 Power for his mag, but no higher. Using Shifta, Deband, Jellen, and Zalure has almost no purpose, unless you play in a group, and even then it's not that useful. If everybody's competent, they will NEVER notice whether you use thos spells or not. As for resta, in a group, the more you heal, the better it is. Most caharcters have outrageously high HP rankings, except for Forces. This applies mostly to androids.

lv 126 hunewearl the mag is def-10 / pow-137 / dex-45 / mind -8, thats does me fine in atp and ata,mst is 688 and def with deband is about 896 without its deband its 690 so no probs there. i have used lods of def mats

That's alot of def materials, you ain't jokin'. My HUnewearl was strong enough to kill stuff with techs, so I usually used Mechguns.

well i have got a guard wave and kasimi bracer on my char i just use a demo comet+11 to destory forest and caves. i keep doing caves to get a sange and a dulble canonn

My current stats of my RAmarl with S&D are around:

ATP 1200 (nothing equipped)
DFP 1050 (God/Body, Brightness Circle with 190 dfp, Standstill Shield with 172)
MST 820 (2 God/Minds)
EVP 980 (don't know the boost of BC and SS)
ATA 282 (with a 45% hit Final Impact) normally around 210?
LCK 34

and I'm just lvl 131, I think my stats are far better than your huney DND.

1) You've raised a HUmar I hope?

Obviously not, 'cause that's wrong. Not only is the HUmar's ATA excellent, but HUmars also have an excellent ATA growth. I wonder where you're even getting this thought from.

2) And this I know you have no idea what you're talknig about. Offline, he's the greatest hunter, since with his support techniques, he'll be doing more damage. And online, not only will he support the rest of the team, making them stronger, but his more than excellent ATP make him a nice assistant in melee. As a Force, he's the second worst. Obviously you've never tried S/D/J/Z alone. If everyone's competent, they'll ask the Force for the support techniques.

Again I say, you have no idea what you're talking about. Big Grin

And told tell me you've played these characters, since I have both these characters (As my highest characters, too).

HUmars do need a bit of ATA on their mag... I've trained my Humar till 126 and had trouble hitting stuff in the mines and in the ruins.
