What are rares based on?... I know that when you have a better rank you'll get more cards.
What are good strategies, how can you get good cards and why are there different decks you can choose from when you've fought a battle?
I lost interest in playing Ep 3 because of lack of knowledge, I would like to start playing it again.

The only way to get rare cards... is to raise your level. Higher level gets higher cards. But, if you are after a certain card in paticular... then go for the deck that gives off higher percent of that type of card. You will find yourself getting alot of the same cards. However, alot of the same cards, means higher chance of transformation. At lower levels, most rare cards are obtained through some of the beginner cards transforming into rarer ones. And, if a card successfully transforms... and you are online, there is a 0.00897% (something like that, cant remember exactly) chance of it becoming a VIP card. This lets you go to the auction room to get lots of rare cards (you need 3 more people with you to do this).

How do cards transform and when... does you get better cards each time you level up?
My level is currently around 12 and I think the Nano Dragon and the Gran Sorcerer are one of my rarest cards.

cards transform when you are getting them from the pack, before a card moves away and the next one is shown, it may glow and change into a rarer card. The chance of a card transforming is determined by how many of that card you have.

A way to get rarer cards (not neccesarily "rare", just "rarer") is to get a high rank in batle. To easily get an S-rank in battle you have to simply do over 80 damage, and not take too much damage or loose too many things yourself (say loose 2 items and take about 20 damage max). this is what works for me anyway.
