i am on this quest, where the guy needs you to find his malfunctioning android. i know you dont have to fight those racasts (i think they are) that attack you when you input the code and there is the error. do you guys usually fight them, do they give good exp? they are fast , they stay right on your butt when you run!

Holy crap. I dont go anywhere near these fools, they keep using 'mates, and their guns always hit. Thank god for my Musashi....
AND THEY DONT GIVE EXP! Even on Ult, after a 6 minute battle (bastards!) they give no exp. :'(
Just ignore them and concentrate on getting the mission done.

I'm sure defeating the RAcasts unlocks some of the doors... meh, probably not, though. I fight them anyway (Rabarta or Razonde solve most problems with them...)
Hostile NPCs NEVER give out EXP.
