Well, since I haven't seen any posts here about episode 4, I figured I'd turn up the heat and post this video of more than 10 minutes of gameplay in episode 4.

The desert is looking nice. Although the enemy AI looks like a copy of the Forest. and the gates are very unimaginative. I've got episode 4 beta on my laptop. But I'm not sure if I'm going to bother playing it. Undecided I think I'll wait until the final release. Hopefully then they'll update the AI a bit.

gez, can't they use a different AI for each new enemy. Not just use the AI from the Episode 1&2. At least they changed the look of the friggin things.

Have to admit it though, it kinda looks alright.

Disappointed. It's just the same routines again. New area, new story. Same old monsters =/.
They've used the same AI/animation routines for over 4 years now since the first PSO game. I think they had some time to get new animation/AI routines.

This is just a beta tho...and that means that they could still be devolping the AI. this is more for bugs in the system I think.

Good point.
It looks the same when you play Ep2 for the first time. Playing with the old monsters in new levels. At least they got lots of new AI and monsters later on.
Layout looks a bit more confusing though which is good.
Where is terms of level largeness (doesn't sound right o.o) would you put it? Bigger than Caves (one level) or Ruins?
