No drop rates were changed between the regular Ep1&2 and Plus versions as far as we know.

but i found several items that went severly against my drop charts...
i know what you're thinking..."he's got bad charts..."....

they worked quite well in the origional...
is then the only difference the fact that there are missions in Ep2 offline..?

That is either bad charts or more likely just the randomness of pso. The only differences are the addition of some battle modes (6-8 iirc), offline ep2 challenge mode, the removal of one duping method, the hacked mags stopping rare drops in any game and some of the ep2 online quests now being available offline.
