I saw a similar question over in the tech help forum and I was hoping someone might see it here and have an answer.....
So first of all, Im a Yellowboze fonewm looking for my Racast's NUG-2k. Now I was hoping that I could quickly find one from the canabins by finding a cluster, destroying the canabins, and then telepiping out before the canune disappears. Then when I return to the mines, the whole group is back, canabins and canune. However, Ive noticed that they have only dropped stuff the first time I beat them (such as a photon drop :'( ....twice in the same run :'( :'( ).
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this kind of "piping". Is there some way--any way I can get alot of canabins to drop stuff without having to run through the entire level?

You cannot get items using the canabin trick, once dead, the canabin will not drop anything else.
And asking for exploits is against the rules.

But is that also for canune's? So when you kill it, pipe and when it reappears it won't drop anything else?
