I can barely beat multiplayer De Rol Le and Vol Opt, we both are level 16. I know Slicers are used for De Rol Le's but what about Vol Opt? We will level up, but I just want to know the best weapons. I am a RAmar, he is HUmar.

First time I faced Vol Opt with a ranger, I used a Draw Sniper +2... in the second form, that let me get my HP back quickly without using Resta. Then I gave it to my RAcast for the same fight. *shrug* But, then, I'd never even seen a slicer or a shot before I entered ruins for the first time. It doesn't really matter what you use, it's all about dodging his attacks - or if you don't/can't, have an HP-stealing gun, rifle, or saber (maybe).

Have you ever went online or multi at Vol Opt? You have to destroy every window (single, only break 5 windows then V2), and then destroy every little shock machine. They usually temporalily shock you so you have to monomate all the time. Then V2, is just to hard. Thanks for reminding me about the shots though.

you only need to blow up the shock machines. but if you do a bunch of overkill to the screens, only one or two of the shockers will pop up at a time (making it easier to kill the flashing one). and if you do a WHOLE bunch of overkill you don't even need to hit the shockers
the key to beating all bosses is hp raising units, because almost all bosses to set damage will all attacks

Well... only two things to remember about that... (a) take a shield with decent lightning resistance, and (b) hit the flashing pillar as soon as it appears, keep hitting it and it won't shock you at all.

Hitting the windows at Vol Opt's first form is a pure waste of time.
Do that in C-mode and don't expect many people to play with you.
Just concentrate on the red pillar (don't stand in front of it, and remember, the closer you are, the more damage its Foie/Gibarta/Gizonde does).

Maybe you should take a shot, or other weapons of the same catagory, if your a ranger that is, if not, use a mechgun, or well, if you have to, use a pistol... One time I went up against vol opt, i accidently took my whole bank with me, just the money mind you, and now im freakin broke, but i will gain it back. Multiplayer is my favirote type of play, but it has its downfalls, try, try, try again...

I found when i beat de roly (back in 2000) that a rifle was the best wepon its easy to dodge his arms if you are further away,Now i can beat him at lv 11 or 12 if you are useing a Hunter just get 5 hits in then move. as for vel opt v2 just nail him with what ever wep you have keep running around him then attack, his missles wont take off that much if you are a low lv it can get quite tricky.But not all that hard really,when you get to Falz you can find a pallach or a decent enuff gun in the ruins you should be able to beat him if you are around lv 20-25.

Slicers are good for De Rol Le but you just need a powerful single enemy weapon to go after Val Opts 1st form and you can use shots, partisan, or sword on his second to hit most of his parts
