Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 - Teh EkwEE - 26-02-2005

I was wondering has seen the Cyberpunk(Same people who did the excellent Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex) classic Bubblegum Crisis. I have not seen the original but I plan on getting a job as soon as I turn 16 then all the anime I have seen will be mine. Anywho, what do you all think of it, I think it's a great show, with great action, and a really deep story.

2040 was good as far as the action, but I didn't like the characters as much as I thought I would. The original Bubblegum Crisis is great, but be warned it is VERY retro. It came out in the early 90's here originally so it has a lot of outdated designs and themes. But the show is a classic, even with its age. If you ever plan on watching the original show, DO NOT watch it in English. This due to the fact that the show has J-POP playing in the background almost constantly and the english dub of it sounds terrible in comparison.

I hate when animes gett dubbed bad. 2040 was really good, in my opinion, as far as dubbing goes. Akira was also.
