ok in my otgher thread soch said that if i had been in th eruins, i could go there whenever as long as i saved
so now im asking, if there arent any pillars in the ruins, wuts the ice pillar doing there? it looks like a pillar but is surrounded by ice
any thoughts?

It's a monument from what I can see. There are a few messages by Red Ring Rico, asking the same question you are.
What are these monuments and what are their purpose??
In one of the quests, a computer is linked to one of these monuments I think and causes earthquakes. So no idea what they are. They are just there to look pretty I think.
