Nintendo Revolution - Lee-yoshi - 11-03-2005 Here's a thread for the brand new Nintendo Next-Generation Console... the Nintendo Revolution! Feel free to spread your opinions over the posts of this thread! Starting it off instead of rumour is the official stuff: This week the Games Developers Conference was held in San Francisco, and the main man of Ninty himself was there to reveal details of the new console in all their glory! Here's a few interesting features ^_^
Nintendo.co.uk Wrote:Iwata announced that Revolution will feature built-in Wi-Fi protocols, which will allow users around the world to connect with one another wirelessly. Revolutionâs technological heart, a processing chip developed with IBM and code-named âBroadway,â and a graphics chip set from ATI code-named âHollywood,â are being designed to deliver game experiences not possible to date. Nintendo Revolution - Double Edge - 11-03-2005 Wowie, very informative Lee. Excellent. I cannot wait for the Revolution. And Backwards Capability? That's news to me!! Man, I can't wait for E3.
Nintendo Revolution - God-IX - 11-03-2005 I agree, that would be interesting to have Nintendo Revolution - Double Edge - 11-03-2005 I didn't know it, but it isn't very surprising. Considering the PlayStation 2's PlayStation 1 game-playing ability, I figured Nintendo would follow in their footsteps. Nintendo Revolution - Dark Imakuni - 11-03-2005 Lee-Yoshi Wrote:Will include Wi-Fi features and online play, straight from the box!Does that mean it can link with the DS, as the DS has / will get wi-fi Nintendo Revolution - God-IX - 11-03-2005 Hm...thats odd..maybe you do, that would be great if it was wireless Nintendo Revolution - Lee-yoshi - 11-03-2005 I expect it'd work in the same way as the Nintendo DS will work online. Also yes, the Revolution will be compatible with the Nintendo DS in some way, most probabily alike the Nintendo Gamecube & GameBoy Advance. Nintendo Revolution - God-IX - 11-03-2005 that would probably make the most sense Nintendo Revolution - Double Edge - 12-03-2005 That would be great. of course, you would need to have a hold of a DS, which by the time I have the Revolution, I still may not. Nintendo Revolution - Phantom_RAcast - 12-03-2005 not sure if this has been posted or not: http://cube.ign.com/articles/594/594935p1.html?fromint=1 |
