Just a couple of questions about FOnewms, as I am working on a sexy one. A: What is a good rare mag (non-cell) and good stats for a FOnewm to have?
B: About at what level should I be before moving up in modes?
C: What are good weapons to seek out as a PINKAL FOnewm?

i would go for a striker of chao...
or a hildebear/blue cane for the foie boost...
umm...
i usually wait 5 lvls more then recommended to beat modes...
unless you equip all the df slots you can...
i really dont know anything about mags...
for my fonewm...
i made a mag with mostly all mind...and a little def...

You should be able to get a Nidra as a FOnewm, those are good mags. Nice feeding charts... like the Savitri.

B. go through modes as soon as you can
C. XD change the id..if you dont I reccommend getting a branch of paku paku, then turning it into striker of char (if your offline skip the last step)

Pinkal can also pipe Double Saber in Hard Caves, Sting Tip in Hard/Vhard Temple and Caduceus in Ultimate Caves (or maybe it was VHard... don't remember). Not too bad for a FOnewm... as soon as I get my FOnewearl to Ultimate, I'm piping at least two Caduceus...es. *shot for bad spelling*

Actually, as a Pinkal FOnewm, the 9 star Wands are the best you can get.
Pinkal also finds all amplifiers and barriers, so get yourself some (Resta Merge for online is compulsory on a FOnewm).
Sorcerer's Cane from Ult Ruins is nice, and that's about it.
Pinkal sucks, and there aren't many weapons a FOnewm needs.

For the Fonewm, I gave it alot of DEX. That way, you'll max your ATA and can use a Giest Vulcan. He didn't need very much MIND though, only 91.
B: Get to Ultimate as fast as you can.
C: Kefka's right with the 9-star Staff series, they are helpful with the tech boosts, a Red/Rafoie Merge would also help alot.

For your question about a good weapon.. they can get off more spells at once if they don't have one equipped at all. FOnewms get all of their advantages in the nuking spells, so when you get 'em, stick to those and work out a method of killing everything in the room in a few short blasts. This is what I do, and I can survive at level 77 in Ultimate caves, at least for a while. So... yeah, best tip, no weapon. They let off a lot more spells a lot faster. As for the level thing... varries. Early on, these guys can be a bit tricky to work with, so I didn't beat normal mode until level 30 or so, but I beat hard around level 40, and if you can get to the mines, if you have a decent gizonde tech skill level, you can gain levels and XP really fast. That's what I was all about, anyways. I beat DF on VH at level 73, with few difficulties (just bring a few scape dolls.)
