Its a great idea but i dont know if it will work sometimes its hard to stay on topic in some threads mainly when the info needed is given and the topic goes stale but still this is a great idea and i do hope it works out.

Hmm... at first it did sound like an alright idea, but you know people are just gonna end up spamming so much crap...
The General Chat Forum is meant to be used for talking about anything, sure, but you might as well post something you want to actually talk about at that specific time, rather than opening a thread thats gonna end up full of crap...
The "Off-Topic" term has been creeping up more and more lately... I know people like to have a chat but we should try to remain on Topic, so that people actually know whats going on. I've seen quite a few threads which have now got like over 5 pages worth of posts, which have ended up full of crap...
You might aswell wait untill you actually have a geniune topic, or question you would like to discuss, and then open up a thread about it.
Anyway Aaron, i'd appreciate it if you left the Moderating work to the Moderators
