Doom 3 - HUmar16 - 22-04-2005
I had got Doom 3 recently, and played it for a while but I didn't play it for a long time because that game was just too scary for me. I'm not going to play that game at night at all either because I can't help but think dead people and monsters R lingering around in the shadows. Do you consider Doom 3 to be a good game why or why not?and does it scare you?

I, too, own Doom 3 (rather, my brother does). It is a very intense game, and while I do not play it as much as him, I find it scary - to an extent. The whole concept of the moans, etc., in this game, is not what scares me. The idea of pop-ups, however, is. The same goes for movies, I cannot bear the pop-ups in certain films. But, I get over it.
I love this game, all in all, and it beats out Half-Life², as well, seeing as though the two FPS's are in direct competition with each other.
My Rating: 9.8/10 for graphics, control, scare-ability, and fun!

Alas i have never played Doom 3.
i have heard how good it was and that it was scary.
all i hope for is that it is as good as the oringinal.
i hope to play it soon and im prepared to be scared out of my wits.

Believe me its scary, I read about it in the EGM and they even said that it was scary. Actually thats the only reason why I got the game.

It does make me feel VERY tense and jumpy but i wouldent say scared. Then again i havent played it much yet

i actually jsut played for the first time...
no more than 10 minutes ago...
it was very intense...
not scary...
just ...surprising...always popping out things you did not expect....

Yes...but if you stay up all night, and you drink pop and eat chips, and your tired and a Demon jump out, it makes you jump..it's pretty intense

eh, its not that bad. sure, i wet myself that one time and the other time i had to clean my pants out. aside from that the only times i was ever remotely scared on that game is when i screamed like a little girl or put my head under my covers.
