In case PSO: BB will only be availible by download, would it still work to use my friends BB to download it and then burn it to a data CD and then install it in my computer? I know I'll still need the 256k connection but it'd at least help me get the thing and save the hassle...
What I'm basically asking is is there anyway to avoid the huge download that anyone knows while still getting the Episode 4 expansion??

The download will probably save all the required installation files, so yes, I would guess you could burn the install file to cd. However, your friend also probably needs broadband to connect to the game once installed, or maybe while installing.

I'm sure it should work...that's what I did for the 'OLD' PSO game...I downloaded the full-version trial of PSO Ver. 2 and put it on a CD and I play it on other computers.

Hmm... i wouldn't be 100% sure about it working... but its a possibility! The main point of downloading the game is that you have the internet power to play it afterall
All i do know is that you can play Blue Burst from any PC the game is installed on, because your characters are saved server side, so you login to play.

I know that's the big reason I want blue burst! As long as I can GET the game and worry about getting DSL while I level offline, I'm a happy camper.
