Confusing item combinations - Numbjob - 30-04-2005 Ok, you use Syncesta to do the lavis transformations, and you start with Lavis Cannon add syncesta and it turns into Lavis blade. you take lavis blade and add syncesta and it turns into double cannon. now you take double cannon and add syncesta and it turn into lavis cannon, why would they make the weapon cycle back to it's origional form instead of either stopping the transformation cycle or make it change into something else? :S Confusing item combinations - Hrith - 30-04-2005 No idea either, but it does, I tried it once (offline, so I did not save, it was not my Double Cannon). Confusing item combinations - whiteninja - 30-04-2005 Maybe it's if you get the Double Cannon and saved but realize you like the Lavis Blade more. That way, if you have 2 spare Syncesta you can get it again!

Confusing item combinations - chaoscontrol88s - 30-04-2005 How do you get Syncestas? And they probably made the Lavis series that way because someone might want their lavis blade back after they made it a double cannon. Confusing item combinations - jarl - 30-04-2005 o look, a dropchart Confusing item combinations - Shadamoo - 30-04-2005 Its probably something they put in to catch out dumb people
Confusing item combinations - Numbjob - 30-04-2005 Well why not take the transformation a step farther and turn it into a slicer, or sword weapon, instead of back into a saber, i mean it's already been 3 hunter weapons, why not make it transform into the rest of them. Confusing item combinations - NetNomad - 30-04-2005 Because twin-sabers are pretty much the coolest looking blade weapons... and if they had sword/slicer in there then they'd probably have to put them in BEFORE Double Cannon; thus, you'd need even more Syncestas. Also, sword and slicer are multi-hitters; I think the idea here was to use single-enemy blade weaponry. Confusing item combinations - Numbjob - 01-05-2005 well there are some pretty big differences between saber, blade, and double blade. Like number of hits per combo, and the amount of atp the weapon adds, saber is 3 hits, the blade is 5 hits and the double cannon is 6 hits, so if you were going to make it into something else i think these would be the next step, cause yeah the double cannon is good on 1 powerful monster, but when your surrounded it's not exactly my ideal weapon. The double cannon would come before the slicer and sword version, because how effective the weapon is I think is a more important factor than how cool it is. |
