Avatar Contest! - Double Edge - 01-05-2005
Okay. What this is, is a competition for who on these grand forums has the best avatar. The contest will proceed as follows...
PROCEDURE:
1. Members will post in this thread with their nominations for the best avatar (1 nomination per member - if you make more than 1, the 2nd nomination will be discarded)
2. I (and possibly other staff), will gather up all of the nominations
3. Then, a Polling Thread will be created in which all of you may vote for your favorite avatar based on the member name
4. The poll results will be calculated
5. Finally, the winner will be announced - they will have the priviledge of boasting about their excellent avatar! ^_^
6. (Added by Serpent) Don't vote for yourself!

KEEP THESE THINGS IN MIND:
1. When nominating in this thread, do not post a bunch of extra text - I simply want the members' name whom you are nominating, and the avatar's description
2. DO NOT nominate a member if, in some way, they have specified that they do not wish to participate
3. If you choose to participate, it would be wise to keep your avatar the same until the contest is over, in order to maintain consistency and avoid confusion (but just in case, do provide the member's avatar description)
4. The staff are participants - unless otherwise specified
5. KEY: The "best" avatar can be even the most subtle one
6. When nominating, follow this format:
Quote:Member: Member Name----------------
Avatar: Avatar Description
If you have a question regarding the contest, PM myself, or make a brief post in this thread. If you post anything else (random stuff, etc.) in this thread, which isn't relevant, it will be deleted.
This thread will be left open and stickied for the next little while, so make your nominations. Thank you, good luck, and have fun!
FINE PRINT: Bear in mind that all of the members, who have avatars that aren't chosen as the best, are not losers - merely not the winners.
