I'm really wondering whether I should get a Keyboard adapter.I mean, I positively LOATHE looking around for the letters on the image-keyboard already in the game.
Having a keyboard would enable me to type much faster.

just get a datel powerboard, its decently priced and plus it comes with a KB & Adapter, if you just want the adaptor though look around on ebay

Just search Ebay, get a $10 adapter. That's what I did.

yeah, the Ascii keyboard controller is like $50-$60, the Datel is cheaper than that. I just think it would be more convenient to just set down the controller and type on it.

The powerboards controls are messed up. By that I only mean some symbol buttons, like if you press ~ you will get a different symbol
