FSOD Question - Phantom_RAcast - 05-09-2003

what is FSOD and what does it do?

FSOD Question - Ivan - 05-09-2003

FSOD stands for

Frozen Screen Of Death

what happens is when your online, if your connecting to a block or ship or returning to the the lobby or meeting someone after you have searched them, you game freezes. (it can even happen right in the middle of a game, but dont worry its very rare) the only way out is to shut off the game cube by doing that you lose every unequiped item.Sad it sucks we all know that.Big Grin

But there is a way out of that (losing your items i mean)

you just deposit your items before you go online and when you get to a game you take out what you want and when your gonna leave the game, you deposit everything back and anything new you might of found that you wanna keep. and you got to the next game and you keep going.

FSOD Question - Lee-yoshi - 05-09-2003

lol, sum1 asked me the same thing a couple of days ago! Common question, mayb it needs 2 b a bit more clear...

U say its rare, but while ive been in the lobby the past 2 days, twice its just frozen completely, it hasnt crashed, its far too long for LAG, it just stops, very wierd! I overcome that by pulling out my phone cord and waiting for a while until the 'The line has been disconnected' screen appears, so i can start over. But thats twice in 2 nites, has anyone else has this occur to them, or is it just me?
