Recently, I tried to get pictures of all the different colored special mags for my guide, but the digital camera I used didn't work.... at all. So, since the only way I could get good pictures is using a BBA and PSO Proxy, which I can't do..... Does anyone here want to help me out here and do it? It'll take a little while to do, but I'll give you credit for the pictures, and then you can trade away the mags if you don't want them (a set of each color 25/24/25/25 mag would trade pretty well).
Firstly, the costumes and colors are:
1 â red/orange (hard to tell red from orange from maroon, but you'll get it)
2 â dark blue/midnight blue
3 â gold/rotten-banana yellow
4 â neon green/turquoise
5 â purple/maroon
6 â black/darkish gray
7 â white/yellowish white
8/9 â brown/dark green/sky blue/pink/any of the above
The #1-7 will randomly give you one of 2 colors, first though you should do #8/9 untill you get the 4 random-only colors, and then fill in any missing spaces.
Then just take pictures of them in the "Mag" form and load them on your computer and raise them to 25/24/25/25 mags. (you can click the guide to get the directions for them if you don't know)
Once they're level 99, save, then restart and evolve them all into one of the special mags, take the pictures, then soft reset so it doesn't save, and do that for the other special mags.
To raise them quickly to level 99 just do a multiplayer game and give each 9 mags and mass feed them while you watch a movie or something. (It works better than single player because you can keep track of where you are in the feeding list.) By the time you feed all of them, the first ones are ready to be fed again.
You can then email me the pictures, and I'll add them.
So if you'd like to voluteer to do this, that'd be a GREAT help.

its not an illegal server.. its something you run on your comp so you can get the pics off the memory cards, I'd help.. buut I'm way to lazy >.>;

I'd do it but I don't have PSO proxy... I want to see the different colored mags though to see which ones look the best.

You hook your GC up to your computer using a BBA, and then you use the PSO Proxy program to transfer snapshots from your memory cards to your computer..... Something that I would do if I had a BBA (especially since I went through the trouble of getting all 18 mags)....
If anyone could help, it'd be much appreciated. If not, you'll have to wait until I get to go online before you can get any more updates on the guide.
Darn it, I just realized that I missed the "n" in "volunteers" in the thread title.... I hate spelling mistakes in the title, because they can't be changed and they make you look like a fool... :$

I have oodles of mags... I'm always raising two at once on whatever character I'm using
Unfortunately, no screenshots. I can transfer the snapshot file to my PC with a USB card, but I can't convert it into a readable format from there, so it's useless. I can take pics with a camera but they're not crystal clear like screenshots. Best I've managed so far. If I zoom in on the mag and don't stand against the sunlight I'll probably do a bit better than that. I'll take some if that quality's sufficient for you.

Yeah, the problem with digital cameras is that they take in all the light from the TV screen as you take the pictures so then they all come out way to bright. When I tried to take pictures, the red and orange mags both came out white.... That never would have worked....

you can muck around, and make them darker if you want, give me a while and illl see what i can do with tangs pic.

hm i guess you can find a complete mag-colour chart on several websites.
try to look in the google-archives for housoka.com for example, or try psoworld?
and for snaps via psoproxy and BBA.... no clue, since i personally use an USB memcard, but i guess you can find a guide for that too.

Uhhh... I think you put the wrong site in that last post... I put that site into the URL bar, and a porn site came up... Uhhhh...
I tried Google, and I did get a bunch of pics, but no actual tables of them... So I'd need to search alot to find a picture of each special mag in each color.
Edit: PSOW only has the "Mag" color pictures, not the special mag ones.
