Some help would be very much appreciated here.
what does luck do exactly?
I have been told many different things.
1. Increases chance of critical hits.
2. Increases chance of rare drops.
3. Increases chance of rare enemy turning up.
4. Increases chance of not being killed by megid??
5. Increases chance of weapon special attack actually hitting enemy.
Please help people....thankyou all in advance

Luck only influences the critical hit ratio, if I'm not mistaken.

From what I have heard, it increases your chance of scoring a critical hit, and decreses enemies chance of scoring a devastating blow to the face

First of all, hi, I'm Sariana and I'm (quite obviously
) new to the forums.Second of all, I dunno...I have a pretty high luck rating with my RAmar, and on his game alone I've gotten a total 15 Photon Drops, not to mention several rares. Of course, it might have something to do with his Section ID; I've heard that Purplenums get a lot of rares.
As for the critical hit thing, I've never heard that, but it seems like a few others have, so I won't question that. I'm just saying that from my personal experience, I've gotten more rares, Drops, and a few enemy parts due to a high luck rating than I did when I first started his game and had a crap luck rating.
The Megid thing...again, I'm not sure. I've had some instances where Ob Lillies can Megid at me till they're blue in the face, and it doesn't affect me. Other times I get hit once, and I'm dead.
So, I think that ideas 1 -3 from the first post are valid, and that 4 and 5 are just rumors. 'Course, I don't know for sure.

As stated already, LUCK, in PSO anyway, increases your character's chances of dealing a critical hit. No if's, and's, or but's: that's what luck is.

Hey Sariana, welcome to the forums! As a semi-newbie here myself, I'll let other people tell you what thou shallst not do
Anyways, yeah, Luck affects crits and nothing else. Not rares, not megid, not anything. Just crits.

I remember wondering about Luck as well. The game doesn't really make it too clear...

- All characters have 10 LCK to start
- All characters max is 100 LCK
- No characters gain LCK naturally
- LCK can only be boosted by luck materials, and ---/Luck ||| Edit: I forgot the ---/Ability
- Angel/Luck is +5, God/Luck is +30, Master/Ability is +5, Hero/Ability is +10, God/Ability is +20
- Luck materials are rare as -insert random explicative-
- A better way to get luck materials (online) is do good on TTF doing something-or-other special that I don't remember
- LCK divided by 4 = your chance of critical hits (in a %)
- Criticals do 1.5x damage
- One weapons like Mechguns, each of the 9 hits is a seperate hit
- LCK does nothing else
- "Luck of the Irish" helps you get rares, make Megid work, and does all sorts of good stuff
- There is no way to boost your "Luck of the Irish"
- Except a 4-leaf clover
