News of the week (Issue 2) - Ivan - 18-09-2003 Here's number 2 glad to know that so many members liked it. This one is a bit short but its an intresting one. Here's #2... Out of quests? _________________________________ Ivan Palmer Everyone knows about quests. Why? Because thousands of PSO players play them. But is sega running out of new ones? Just days ago a new quest made debut on the 52 ships. A quest called "Labyrithine Trial" where you must work as a team in the caves to find 30 capsules in 15 minutes. I played the quest just hours after the premere, and thought it was pretty decent. Despite it being in the caves. Now that there are over 40 quests online for the GCN, will there be anymore? I asked ST on that question; And got a responce alomost any gaming company would say if they where asked if a sequel to their game would be made: "We can't realy answer that, ideas for such things just come and go. We do have many quests out and ideas are getting slim. And adding areas that dont exist offline, (Forest, Ruins, and such) could very well cause more trouble connecting. So what ST will do? We don't know yet. I also talked to a few staff members of a site called psogamerz. They said, "We are very much happy with the quests we get, when they come up with more they come up with more". But if new quests don't come along, a part of PSO may fall, and if it does, some people think so will the entire game; little by little. ____________________________________________________ Now voice your opinoins! Im sure its nice for us all to see something besides "Hero" ***This has been a presentation of Ivan news report*** News of the week (Issue 2) - Schoichet - 18-09-2003 well im glad to see your acshuoly going thrw with this, i tht ud make 1 and get bored but ive realy got to hand it to you, and u also brout up a good topic, do u think i shold start a thred about quest ideas, then send the good ones into st? News of the week (Issue 2) - Lee-yoshi - 19-09-2003 I havent played many of the quests that there are, mainly because i personally think most people just wanna play through the Ruins constantly to defeat Falz, time and time again! Valueable experience! But i love the quests, ive only played a couple because i dont have forever to be online, as does anyone! And im sure in the future ill get through to playing them all, be happy with what there is, at least theres some to enjoy, and 40 is quite a lot. Another gud topic raised Ivan! Keep em cumin! News of the week (Issue 2) - Ivan - 19-09-2003 Yes schoichet, not a bad idea at all. And thanks you guys for the supporot! |
