yeah a 7 star iteam with about a 1/6000 chance of finding from a pal shark in normal well i found it and it doesn't seem good at all. sorry if this sounds stupid but we just got the game 3 days ago i have a level 19 forece-newman-feamale, sorry forgot the abrieviation, and i want to know, will do me any good? yeah anyway this seems like a nice place to ask for help seeing as i counldn't find it in the iteam data base.

Barriers are used to improove the qualities of particular spells. A Blue Barrier is meant for Barta based spells. For this barrier you will need an amplifier to improove it. This can either be an amplifier of Barta, Gibarta, Rabarta, or Blue. The Amplifier of Blue is the best, but the rarest because it is like the other three combined. (My knowledge of these is fairly fresh so I'm hoping all of that is 100% accurate)

Say you have an amplifier of barta, if its in your bank does it still help u out or do u have to have it with you? :S

The amplifiers must be merged with their proper barrier in order for them to have a use. This is done by equipping the barrier, going to the amplifier, and selecting USE... this will create a merge of whatever amplifier you just used. This must be equipped in order to receive its benefits.

Note that the individual merges (Barta Merge, Gibarta Merge, Rabarta Merge) will boost only the relevant spell by 30%, whereas a Blue (Bule?) Merge will boost all three Barta techs by 20%.

For a Force, especially a FOnewearl, the Merges are incredibly useful. Couple that with technique boosting items (e.g. Mace of Adaman), a Barta Merge and the base boost of a FOnewearl, you can do loads of damage...

Heh, I might actually train my secondary character FOnewearl pretty soon for the sake of her Yellowboze ID. I didn't know the boost difference was a little different on the universal amplifier. Oh well.

The Red Merge is the overall best because so many enemies are weak to Foie, then you can also use Gi/Ra-foie and still have a decent boost.

Here would be a nice nuking combo... a FOnewm equipped with a Rafoie merge!

actually i prefferd the barta merge but mabey thats cuz of my association with ice heh.
still merges are cool shame they dont have the defensive power to match up with the top rare shields or i would of stuck with one for its magical properties.
