It's all over their front page, of course. They should have links to other sites as well as their usual in-depth analysis.

I hope any members in London are safe, and anyone's family/friends in London are also safe.

My cousin is working there today, but thankfully she is fine.

The whole time I heard about it, I was just thinking "why is this happening?" I'm pleased with how well our emergency services are coping, and continue to support them, though I fear the death toll will rise as more information is gathered.

It seems most likely the attackers were aiming to kill, as the explosions went off right at the peak of rush hour, and I'm sure anyone who has been to London knows the tube is absolutely packed, especially around this time.

The services are treating people well so far, 45 critical/seriously damaged people treated and 300 people treated with minor problems. I heard this on the news 5 minutes ago. I just hope they can do better, with all the damage done.

only 2 confirmed deaths so far i believe

Yes, the emergency services are doing a wonderful job. There appears to be little panic, everything seems quite ordered and surprisingly calm judging by what I have seen on the news.

Of course, since 9/11 we've had plans in place for such an event as this, thus it comes as no surprise that we were ready for it. Not to mention that we have experience dealing with IRA terrorist attacks as well.

I'm just glad it wasn't worse - it's bad enough as it is and a real tragedy for London and England. And of course it gets the country into a state of alert, I just hope that we don't allow this to control our lives through fear.

On the other hand, I worry that Blair will use this as an argument for ID cards and the house arrest of 'suspected' terrorists, since personally I don't agree with either and playing on the politics of fear will lead us nowhere.

hmm.. yahoo said there was alot more, but at this point i dont think anyone can be entirely sure.

Unfortunately there are 33 confirmed fatalaties.

I sadly knew it would be more than the 2 originally given, due to how packed rush-hour Londo transport is.

I'm glad people are so strong about it, probably not the nationwide panic terrorists were aiming for.

My condolences go out to those in London.

I pray nothing else happens like this, to anyone.
