Merge it? do you mean turn it into a Striker of chao? if so you'll have to be online. Go to ttf beat the dragon go back to p2 go into the medical room and you should see a shiny warp like thing. go in it press a. you should be in the ruins. once there look for a waterfall go under it equip the bran and wait
