Rare Finding Theory - Cortana - 11-07-2005
Ok so I made a new character to test a theory out...
I used a hacked mag, hacked weap everything. Until I was lvl 45. And then I took the items off, went down to FOREST2. And guess what... The first box I busted I got a rare, the first wolf I killed, I got a rare, the first booma I killed I got a rare. I did this on Episode 1&2 XBOX. Just a theory that the drop rate stacks, and then if you go over, you will immediately find a weapon.

Hmmm.. or it just could be luck. repeat the test a few times then report back with the results

whoa.. thats weird. maybe it was just a coincidence because im sure someone would've noticed a while ago but maybe your right...

Why would that make people stop hacking? It's the hacked items that allowed him to find so many rares at once. If he kept that up and waited to ultimate he could get some good stuff.

I can understand his hate to hackers, but to think they'll all stop is pretty sad.... No flame war, just my opinion... which constantly starts flamewars.
Let us know if that works, because that's pretty cool if it does.

on the topic thing for hacked mag when i had 1 (looooooooong ago) i never got a rare but this was for GC so could that change it mayb?
