The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Faulkie - 12-07-2005 Ok, ok. I've been thinking about this for a while now. If you have PAL versions of Nintendo games, you may have noticed a green triangle on the thin edge of the case at the bottom (picture shown below). Well I have noticed that on some occasions this triangle is not green (it is yellow on project rub, and pink on harvest moon - a wonderful life and this 'sphynx' game. Also, Mario 64 DS and the Metroid demo (I think) have a terquoise triangle - but they're the only one's I've found. Any ideas anyone? The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Lee-yoshi - 12-07-2005 Lol! I honestly have NO idea what those little triangles are about. At first i thought i may be something to do with the category of the game (I.e. whether its a adventure game, puzzle, FPS, RPG, etc), but no, thats not it at all, and the Nintendo Gamecube games are all the same aswell. E-Mail Nintendo about it and see what they say. I'm very interested about what these are actually about! lol The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - ~Buddah~ - 19-07-2005 maybe its so you dont get us jap and pal games mixed up :? The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Lee-yoshi - 19-07-2005 No i dont think thats the reason, especially since i've noticed that all US games have the Nintendo Gamecube logo on the side of the game at the bottom of the case, instead of at the top on our great PAL games! The Japanese logo is also positioned very differently on the front of the games covers.
The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Faulkie - 23-07-2005 Yeah, I had all the same theories, and none of them were right. Another theory I had was about the game developers, like Sega or whatever, but that's not right either. So I got you interested now Lee? Heh, what email address would I email them on to ask them this though? The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Lee-yoshi - 23-07-2005 Hmm, must be some e-mail address on nintendo.co.uk you can send it too! [EDIT] Here you go, e-mail it here! [email protected] The great Nintendo triangle mystery! - Faulkie - 23-07-2005 Ok, I emailed them, and I'll keep you lovely people (mostly Lee ) updated!
