This is made for the basic reason to say what you think were good GameCube qualities, and what it was missing.

GameCube, good/bad - UK Jester - 11-08-2005

Good internal build, I've never had any technical problems. Also look at the quality of games like Resident Evil 4 and the new Zelda, excellent hardware. Very comfortable controllers with good button layout, I just find the PS2 controller feels wrong.

Bad third party support. Poor console design in shape and initial colours. Rapidly disappearing retail support. Virtually non-existant internet gaming. Lack of mature games and an overabundance of childrens games based on licence tie-ins!

Regards

UK Jester

i don't like gc.
the only reason that it's a sucsess is because it continuous to launch games.
you cannot compare gc with dreamcast
you cannot compare nintendo games with sega.
my opinion.

I am in no way disappointed with anything Nintendo ever does/makes. I love my Gamecube to death.

GameCube, good/bad - Double Edge - 12-08-2005

Nintendo is my favorite, let me say that. My GameCube seems to have difficulty reading discs quite a lot, but I still like it and its games very much. GameCube is a good system in a vast amount of ways, especially, as pointed out, with the controllers. The only ones, might I say, that are actually comfortable to hold when speaking of the 3 main consoles.

controller wise super nintendo rules. and the gamecube is great it sucks that you have to buy
stuff like the broadband adaptor but heck still a good system my only complaints are the d-pad sucks and when you spill soda on it, it makes its self a home for ants gah. but my brother and i are getting a new one. oh yeah no online isn't great but if you recal it was made as a party system and that means haveing people there. kirby air ride uses the broadband adaptor too.

GameCube, good/bad - QueazyCorpse - 12-08-2005

I'm in no way dissappointed with Nintendo. I love my Gamecube and I'm sick of all these people thinking that Nintendo is in trouble cause they're not. Nintendo is doing great in Japan and they are ruling the handheld market pretty much everywhere. I'm glad that Nintendo does not really support online play as online play is a joke. Extra fees just so I can play with cheaters/hackers and general rude morons, not my idea of fun. The Revolution is the only next gen I'll be getting as the PS3 and Xbox 360 are more of a media center then a gaming console. Plus the 360 and PS3 will have too much online gaming happening for my liking. Nintendo will be around for years to come...... Wink
