Have you ever noticed that many quests seem incomplete or filled with secrets? For example, in the quest with Ult (I think it is Doc's Secret Plan, but I could be wrong) the special mag cell you receive as a quest item will act strangely at specific points (it will move, grow, etc). The strange thing is that at a certain point these things stop and the item holds no relevance to the remainder of the quest. Share your thoughts.

Yeah... I've noticed this, too.
A lot of the game seems like it's just a half-finished test version.
My suspicion is that the game was in fact never completed, but left as it was because it made for a sufficient MMORPG, even though it lacked a sufficent storyline.
Does anyone else think that this is a possibility, maybe?

The mag cell moves when you start to see the extended version of the quest. If you can make it move three times, you'll see more when the quest ends. It also explains a lot more and allows you to get free meseta and to see Elenor's mag.
To do this, you'll need to complete the Bernie subplot.
