How do you heal your Force? - Forge - 01-09-2005
I was wondering how you tend to heal your Forces?
I've recently started a FOnewearl which I've been playing in multiplayer with a lot, so the lack of Monofluids and Meseta has caused me to heal using Monomates.
I've noticed a few benefits-
o No charge time, no cool down
o I can heal when I've less than 15TP (and at Lv10, that's a lot of the time)
o I can still run while healing
There are also a few drawbacks-
o I can only hold ten Monomates, and I've not found many Dimates yet.
o They will only heal me, and not my partner as well (and I've only one Star Atomizer)
Since I'm still a low level, I also remain damaged a lot of the time to heal by Level Up. There are no Heal Rings in the area to help me on my way.

Resta when I need healing. Resta when one teammate is at 99% of his max HP. Resta when I'm bored. Resta when I'm trying to pick up a pile of Meseta some else got before me because it's on my A button. Resta because the people I play with like Berserk. Resta just because I can never get rid of my TP and it doesn't damage cancel like nuke techniques.
Berserking parties in PW3 that need healing every single second, 3K max TP and a Psycho Wand to halve TP consumption will do that for ya. >_>;
I only use Monomates when I accidently picked one up and it's the fastest way to get rid of it again. I only go to the hospital for TP, although I often found more Trifluids than I needed.
I'll just omit BB here, the low level characters are kind of embarrassing. XP

At lower levels only traps hurt me so i dont lose too much TP healing and by the time things get fast enough to hit me (V Hard Caves) TP isnt much of a poblem ^_^

Resta, unless I just found a ---mate item on the ground, and I have damage. In which case, I'll use that right away.
I never use Leilla... I didn't even have my mags learn it.
I keep Resta on the "R+B" button. It's the same way for all my characters. (I played Castlevania: Circle of the Moon while I was on a long car ride a few days ago, and I wanted to heal my guy, and I pressed R+B on the GBA -_- )

Usually I carry 10 monomates and 10 dimates, I use resta 90% of the time and when in a tight jam such as being surrounded by enemies to the point where I can't even get 1 tech casted because i keep getting interrupted I have to use a mate.

From my experience of playing low level solo FOrces, I would say "suicide"... okay, running back to the nurse then. It's TP I always run out of.
New low-level FOrces are poor, don't have enough TP items for themselves nor their MAG so they should use whatever they find (apart from Star Atomizers, which should be sold to buy MAG food or save up to buy Ryuker).
I remember in PSOBB JP Beta, I forced my force to level up purely on the hardest level he unlocks on Episode 2, so whenever I solo'd I'd level up like 1 level a week. Then he finally found Ryuker when he had some help unlocking level 3, but I was piping back every single monster with no HP nor TP and nearly got frustrated. At least the nurse is near the telepipe in Epi 2. ^_^
With a partner, just use Resta when both of you need it and mates when only you need it. Be glad to have a partner

I also have my healing on R+B, it just works wonders for me. Although I get annoyed when I have full PB and am healing without thinking after a large battle. No! There are no enemies for me to Pilla! (However, Nei has Mylla and Youlla there, so it's not too bad.)
I tend to carry Di and Trimates rather than Monomates. I never bother to pick them up, unless I need a bit of healing immediately.
(On a slightly off topic note, I've nearly got my main Force into Ultimate mode! Just one more area to go...)

lol, tell me about it! i used to have my special as r+b, so when i had a mag attack: freeze with FS!! m+y? WTF??? o poo.... now i have my special as r+a, so i use estilla, so its not always wasted now. i still do your mistake, cant be bothered to resta with my RA after a big battle, have mag attack, dimate and pilla
i always always always use resta, unless i have picked up a mate in which case i will use it regardless. i have use a trimate to heal 20hp before, this is just because i dont have any use for them. all my chars are rolling in cash, so whats the point of selling them?
my FO only has like lvl 10 resta. i could use 30 if i wanted, but it would just waste tp. if i ever get online i will use it, but in the meantime whatever. i just letmy mst boost up resta to deal with the new hp i get.

I always use Resta, and hardly ever Mates. I have Resta set to R+X on all of my characters.
