i believe that i read somewhere that there is a way to be red ring rico, flowen, and possibly others. am i on about nothing or is this possible?

If you're a hacking low-life it is possible to play as certain NPCs, but if you're legit and don't own an AR then you can't. Basically, you're not supposed to be able to play as any NPCs but using cheat devices you can, but since I hate the things, I'll speak no more of it.

U can turn into flowen, (most of the time) when u start killin olga. So that one is legit.

That's not quite the same. I think he meant using them more as your actual character for the entire game. All turning into Flowen during the Olga Flow fight is just Flow's way of stealing your soul. Although unlike with Dark Falz... Olga's soul steal can be gotten around if your weapon has percentages in Flow's randomly selected attribute.

I remember that in the days of Ver1 and Ver2, people would often get Nolled - and have their character turn into Nol from Journalistic Pursuit. But again, that is hacking - against you however.

I have seen Sonic, Knuckles, and I even saw one Tails in the lobby before. They were being real loosers, insulting everyone with text bubbles, so you couldn't mute them. Apparently, they can only use pistols...
