When you split a blue slime, does its copy have the ability to drop a rare as well? So If I walked into a room with 1 slime and split it into 4, would all 4 of them have the ability to drop a rare? Also, I read somewhere that in Lionels Letter there's a room in cave 2 that if you pipe through the rocks using the piping through doors trick and split all the slimes, you could pipe with 32 slimes. Is this true? And if it is, can you pipe through the rocks in plus?

not sure about 32 slimes, but all 4 slimes drop rares

in that mission, what is it that u meen by the slimes always drop u rares. im guessin that u meen the red items.
can some1 tell me how u do this as the silmes drop me gd intem all the time but i can ever get them to drop them. if u say there guarented about dropping the items then this is a gr8 thing to know coz 4 all my 4 characters the slimes drop me amasing items.1 of them has a drop chance of somethin like 1/22 and thats an 11 star item. its just they dont drop it. i think some1 may have gotten the wrong drop chance for them.

Well, is that 1/22 item from a Red Slime or a Blue Slime? Also, the drop is random. so just keep killing them. And the slimes don't always drop me rares, infact, they havn't dropped me a rare yet. Also, what quest is it that has a ton of Merlans in the first couple of rooms? I'm about to start a Spread Needle hunt.

not sure about rooms, etc, but the quest with most merlans in altogether is docs secret plan (44), but you have to carry that on past were she lays the pipe.
from the depths has 41, dunno how soon they appear though.
SmM, whatever that is, has 43 and that may be good.

Docs secret plan has 44 Merlans?!? Are you sure your not getting confused with Arlans, the weaker form?
