User CP->Edit Options->Messaging & Notification
Then click the check mark that says "Receive Email from Administrators" so it goes away.

Indeed; or it could be that you were automatically subscribed to threads you have posted in, which is what happeend to me when I first joined. Using the same sort of method as Phantom described, head on over to the CP and find the Subscriptions dealy. That should take right good care of it. By the way, welcome, my friend!

I must not be doing something right lol because I'm STILL getting Emails >.>; do I check it or uncheck it? (it's unchecked atm)
