Revolution online with cube games - Darkbryne - 24-01-2006 Do you think that when the Revolution comes out (oooohhhh i can't wait) and if it has online capabilities that you will be able to play cube games online too? I have a cube and I'm not online with it and I really want to play PSO online!!!!! Revolution online with cube games - DARKMATTER - 24-01-2006 ne game that has online capability on the cube, will most likely have online capability with the revolution. Revolution online with cube games - Teh EkwEE - 24-01-2006 Revolution is coming online compatible out of the box, meaning you take the ethernet cable, plug it in, create an account and go with it. It will be backwards compatible, so in all likely hood, PSO will be revived for a short while whence the Revolution comes out. Revolution online with cube games - Darkbryne - 26-01-2006 Great! That's what I was hoping! Revolution online with cube games - Lee-yoshi - 27-01-2006 *Moved to Gamecube* I wouldn't be 100% sure on that quite yet though. With Nintendo intending to use it's Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service with all the online games there'll be for Nintendo Revolution (Inc. 3rd party titles) i wouldn't be surprised if we saw some Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection only service integrated into the Revolution. Maybe i'm wrong, and to be honest, i hope you can play Phantasy Star Online, Episodes I & II, and Episode III online on Revolution, and i also hope SEGA come to their senses and maybe re-released it on the Gamecube for Revolution so we might see numbers increase once again on the Gamecube servers ![]() ![]()
Revolution online with cube games - Anti Hacker - 27-01-2006 Yeah we all know how Nintendo are with their 'add ons' which turn out to be essential to get the most out of your game. Take PSO, FF:CC or Zelda: The four Swords. All of those games require quite a bit of spending to play properly. It will probably turn out Nintendo make their own internet that you have to pay $55 a week for. And that you can only access with a special Nintendo modem, and you will only be able to play the console on "Nintendo compatible" TV sets.
Revolution online with cube games - rena-ko - 28-01-2006 depends on wether or not sega keeps the servers up once PSU gets released (surely for another year after that - at least the japanese servers). then, as mentioned above, the rev is said to lack a RJ45 plug - as in a LAN connection. you'll have to buy a WLAN router or WLAN adapter if you dont have one already. Revolution online with cube games - Orphen - 28-01-2006 Mm. On the revolution? I thought it would have come with that stuff standard. Revolution online with cube games - rena-ko - 29-01-2006 like a modern notebook or laptop, the revolution has a WLAN / WiFi unit. that means it can receive and send info. the point is tho, you need your baseline (DSL, cable, whatever) connected with a WLAN compatible router / modem so the rev, like any other WLAN device has actual access to your net connection. Revolution online with cube games - Lee-yoshi - 29-01-2006 OR... They'll bring out/use the Nintendo DS USB Wi-Fi Adapter which you just plug into your PC and it shares your PC's internet connection with your Nintendo DS (Or in this case, Nintendo Revolution, or maybe both at the sametime!) for the people that don't have wireless routers in their home
