ok hi im new here, but ive been to some forums before and i know how to work most of this stuff, but im kinda new to the gc version of pso... i need some help with my file...

Ok, im a guy but i use a girl... does it matter? i think there better!

so far im doing pretty good i guess, but i need to get my levels up faster... without losing money, because at this point i dont want to spend all my money on mono and difluids, i only have about 400 in the bank for cryin out loud!

Heheh, it doesn't matter that you use a girl. I'm a guy and my best two characters are a Ramarl (by far), and a Fonewearl (by a bit over my Humar). Tongue

Fomarls do have some troubles though... They are like a Fomar that is geared more toward support than attacking (both melee and spell casting). Offline, their strength is enough, though, to get the job done. Online, you will most likely ending up doing Jellen and Zalure first, then teching, then melee.

On the mag...
- keep DEF low. 5 is best. 6 is okay. 7 is horrible. Tongue (So, just try to keep that down now)
- you will probably be meleeing until you get to Ultimate and reach some higher levels... so, don't go too high on the MIND.
- get about 40-50 DEX on the mag
- fill the rest with POW

If you need help with material usage, mag stuff, etc, see this guide:

And start keeping track of your material usage. If you have not done that already, when you hit a level ending in 5 or 0, go here:

Then use those stats to calculate your current material usage.

To get money:
- pick up Armors and sell them. They are worth alot.
- go to the Medical Center when you are low on TP. Ten Meseta is alot less than the 500 you would use on a Difluid.

haha cool wow... thanks alot for the info, so should i just tele to pioneer 2 every time i need to heal and get my tp back or should i still use some fluids to?

To be honest, I would use fluids because continuing to go to the pioneer just to heal is annoying.But since you are one of the force, you should use fluids unless it's really low, then you should go to the medical center. Or you can just go everytime your hp and tp have lost a fair amount but they are not really low.

also, if you have to go out for a few minutes, spam a few spells and get your TP low and some EXP, then when you come back it should have regenerated... not sure if that applies at your lvl, though.

Not with FOmarls it doesnt.

Nope, tp does not regenerate for Fomarls, doesn't it generate for the newman characters though? Anyway, I constantly find fluids with My Fomar, so I never run dry. If you could carry more than ten without having your rare drops cancelled I'd have around 130 now.

Yes, TP regen is newman only.

If it annoys you to go back when you run out of tp then don't do it. It doesn't annoy me so that's what I do.

However, I generally disagree with forces who melee at all and I think you should consider my approach as well. I seem to be the only person who does it though.

Forget power completely, get the mind on your mag going as high as possible. The extra tp will help with your need to go back and the extra MST will make your spells more powerful.

This is also helpful if you have a higher level character to collect spells for you, but that isn't necessary.

Once you learn the elemental weaknesses of each enemy it becomes fairly easy. As cool as Grants it there's no need to use it, same with Megid really.

Setup should be
Resta weak normal
or
weak normal Resta
depending on how you play, then just

In truth I spam every spell and never hit everything, but my level 60 FOmar does over 700 damage with Foie on V.hard. If you're that sort of person do it, but most just never try it.
