I don't even know why I'm asking, maybe just because I haven't been *that* active as of late, and I'm still hopeful, even if naively so: Is there any plans to make an expansion of EP4 for the Gamecube?

No, there sure isn't. There are too many problems with patching console games unless they are stored on a console hard drive (like on PS2 - FFXI) and not many people have those. The XBOX(360) has one, and you can buy one for the PS2 - but the GC has none!
MMO games haven't been so successful on GC as they have been on PC/other consoles.

Mostly because ep4 looks to me like a gigantic, two-level OMGAWESOMEGRAPHICSFEST with a bunch of overpowered weapon drops. ;[

I just wanted the cool new wepons and harder levels available to me. Seabeds is a bore now that I have my Demo Comet and can hit everything. Meh, it's cool though. I still have a PoL hunt to do this summer.

yeah, I wish they'd make an EP 4 for Gamecube too. although no one would be there to play it, and it would probably just be there to please GCers, therefore would probably not be as frequently updated as the BB one. but that's just my thought, I have no idea!

But, maybe if they ever did, people would come back to GC because they have already established their characters and realtionships with other players. And maybe they could release all of the unreleased content that still hasn't been released, even on BB. Like for instance the RR, or maybe PGF, you never know, maybe in the future when they really are focused on PSU they'll make GC servers free, and release everything. Then I would definitely subscribe to both!! But heres to hoping! CHEERS!
